However, we wouldn’t suggest this considering the intensive and demanding kind of game New world is. You might be able to run a windows emulator on your Mac and attempt to run it from there. That being said, if you’re willing to jump through the hoops. Which sadly does suggest that New World will remain a PC exclusive game, and unavailable for both Mac or console players. “New World will be playable only on PC for the foreseeable future.” Mac and console players have been left asking whether this new game (new world if you might) will be coming on other platforms. Here are the Bootcamp drivers: most people recommend these and I do as well, but I'm not sure how well optimized these are for New World so maybe wait until October update.Although, many gamers are left wondering if New World is a PC exclusive. but in my experience, these fixes are either outdated or for very different systems than your mac so you'll just end up creating more issues. Ignore all of this, for now, just try to play it with a fresh Bootcamp install and if you're having major issues then try the drivers, etc. There's a ton of videos out there on optimizing performance by messing with your fans and removing drivers and OC etc.

I sold my gaming PC in December and haven't been able to build a new one so I've been gaming on Bootcamp for a bit now. Bootcamp performance is always rough but playable, definitely stick to 1080p or lower (1440p was excruciating). Any time I go to turn in a quest I have to stand there for 2-3 minutes until I stop phasing through the floor and the quest giver will finally appear. The game runs and is playable, but the sound is constantly breaking and you have to wait for areas to load. Performance is pretty rough, I'm using the Bootcamp drivers instead of the stock AMD drivers which usually increase performance but I'm starting to wonder if these drivers haven't been updated for New World yet and that may be causing issues. I've been playing on my 2020 16" Macbook pro in Bootcamp.
